Advice From a Dating Coach: The Surprising Secret To Finding Love

Are you tired of going on dates in hopes of finding love and connecting with “the one”?

While you may be tempted to give up, you shouldn't! Lucky for you, relationship coach Evan Marc Katz is giving dating advice that you can use right now and discover how to find true love in life.

Here are some of them:

Find yourself first.

The only way you can find love is to find yourself first. This is step one of— the secret to finding love— from the inside out.

You need to know yourself to heal all your past wounds and grow as a better person. With this self-awareness, you get to determine your value as a mate.

Knowing yourself will help you navigate the dating world easily as well. This self-confidence emanates from you, making you a more attractive prospect to your potential mate than others. This book will also show you how to attract the best boyfriend and partner and part of it has to do with some self-love and inner work.

Know what you want.

Are you looking for a serious companion or someone to play footsie with? It's important to know what you want in the first place.

For one, the patterns for pursuing are different. The way you woo a short-term partner is unlike the way you'll do it with a potential long-term mate. Add to that, these individuals are looking for different characteristics as well.

Generally speaking, pursuing a short-term partner in hopes of making him/her a possible spouse is not the way to go. Simply put, you can't force a person into something that he/she doesn't like.

Don't fake it.

You shouldn't dress, talk, or act in a manner that you think is more attractive to people. It's hard to keep up with this every day, to begin with.

Add to that, you might end up with a person who's only attracted to what you are showing. When your partner finds out that everything's a sham, you won't be able to stop that person from walking out and leaving you for good.

Remember, being yourself will help you grow. After all, you get to be in the right job, situation, or circumstance. As you thrive in your element, you're sure to get a better chance of finding love after a first date. One of the questions I hear often is "What is the best way to find love?" I say...

Envision it.

Have you heard about the law of attraction and how it can change your life? Well, the same thing applies to love.

If you want to find love, then you need toenvision it. You need to focus on a question and think about it. However, it should not be about your partner -- it should be about yourself.

Ask yourself, do you want serenity? Or do you want to feel more inspired? Do you want to be more outspoken, perhaps?

By building a roadmap of your future self, you'll be able to find the partner that will help you achieve such goals.

Put in some effort.

While there's an adage about finding love when you’re not looking, it's not entirely true. Although envisioning is important, you need to put in some effort when it comes to love.

Remember, effort is different from appearing desperate. Love isn't about locking down the first person who's readily available. When you feel like a Goddess... it makes finding love so. much easier.

Do what you love.

Just like finding yourself, immersing in your favorite hobbies and frequenting your favorite joints can help you find your one true love. After all, meeting them in these places often means one thing -- you both share a certain something.

More often than not, this common denominator will put you on the path of another person. Add to that, this shared interest can serve as one of the pillars that further solidify your relationship.

Be ready for the risks.

As with most things, love comes with many risks. Not only will you need to spend money, but you will have to devote a lot of your time and attention as well.

If you're not willing to accept these risks, you will have a hard time opening up. Being clear and transparent with your partner is the key to a stable, committed relationship.

Show your humor.

While good looks and a stunning personality are essential, many people like pairing up with individuals with a great sense of humor. In fact, a Psychology Today report says that having witty, cheerful humor can help you land a long-term relationship.

While being humorous is key to finding love, you need to stay away from sarcasm and telling jokes at the expense of others. According to the same report, these qualities make you less attractive to a potential long-term partner.

Seek what you deserve.

It is a known fact that most people are afraid of growing old alone. Unfortunately, this fear often results in average, if not unsatisfying, relationships.

To find love, you need to seek a partner you deserve. If he/she doesn't appease your wants and desires, maybe it's time for you to search for another one.

By simply following these tips from dating coach Evan Marc Katz, you’ll be well on your way to finding the one for you, either for the moment or for the long haul.
